How to Connect a Wireless USB Adaptor

    • 1). Insert the installation disc for your wireless adapter into your laptop's disc drive. The auto-play menu for this disc should appear automatically. Select the "Next" button to begin the installation process.

    • 2). Select the file location where you would like to install your wireless adapter software, then select the "Next" button to continue. If you are informed that the publisher of the software you are installing cannot be verified, select the "Install" option to install the software anyway. After installation, you will be prompted to connect your USB adapter.

    • 3). Connect the USB cord coming from your adapter to an available USB port on your laptop. Select the "finish" button to complete installation and wait for the "found new hardware" wizard to appear.

    • 4). Select the "locate and install driver software" option. If you get a prompt saying the publisher of the drivers you are installing cannot be verified, select the "Install" option to install the drivers anyway. After this installation is complete, your USB drive will be ready to use with your laptop.
