Think Positive Thoughts

Thinking positive is one of the hardest things a person can attempt to do.
We are constantly being bombarded with negativity on tv and online.
If we look at the world through those lenses then the first thoughts we will have will be those of negativity.
We have a choice of what we dwell on.
In fact in my opinion thoughts are one of the very few things if not the only thing we have complete control over.
It's very easy to tell ourselves that we don't.
That we are genetically set the way we are and negativity is just a part of life.
This really isn't the case.
We have a choice, and we CAN choose to think positively.
In fact we should condition our thinking to be only of a positive nature.
Many books point to the Law Of Attraction.
They may call it different things but it is a basic theory.
If you think of it as a law that can not be broken then the fact is that we attract to ourselves what we think.
If we dwell on negativity, poverty, loss, ill health etc, then that is what we will attract to ourselves.
If we dwell on wealth, gain, positivity, health then we will attract those things to ourselves.
So If we can control what we think, which in turn control what is in our lives then it stands to reason, why don't we? Why wouldn't we? The simple answer is it is hard work.
It is easy to walk the path that so many walk thinking negatively instead of positive thoughts.
Positive Thinking So can you really change how you think and react to life? The simple answer is yes! It takes effort but that effort is worth it in the gains you can make in life.
Will there be failure in your life? Yes, but how you react to that failure can be changed by your outlook.
A failure is just a stepping stone teaching you how to be successful.
If everyone that faced failure quit, so many things in life would never even be in existence.
Positive thinking has to become a way of life.
Just like physical health has to be practiced by exercise and diet.
You have to mentally exercise for positive thinking.
The good thing is that you can mentally exercise all the time.
It doesn't require special equipment.
It just requires time and practice.
You just need to find a way to push the negative thought out of your mind and replace them with positive thoughts.
One of my favorite affirmations is "I am Success!" It works on so many levels of life.
Another great way to keep your mind active in a positive way is to picture what your success is.
If you want to change you living situation.
Picture what your ideal would be and keep that image in your mind.
This will help you keep focused on where you want to be and not where you are at the time, and since the Law Of Attraction is a law, then you will be motivated to work towards the goal and your positive thinking will attract to you that which you want.
This works in all aspects of life from finances to health.
So in conclusion positive thinking is something that everyone should practice.
The sad thing in not everyone does.
I think it is something worth the work and I hope you do as well!
