AFAIK/ AFAIC/ AAMOF/ AAMOI/ AAR - As A Matter Of Fact/ As A Matter Of Interest/ At Any Rate/ As Far As I Know/ As Far As I'm Concerned.
You'll come across this acronym especially when in the company of online daters or netizens (internet citizens), so you'll be able to tell what they are talking about.
ADDY - Address.
This is the most common acronym when chatting and asking for address, you can also use this when you are texting.
Depending on the context or the usage, it might mean your home address (which you should AFK - Away From (computer) Keyboard.
You will be able to see this on the chat status of your contacts.
Sometimes, a simple "away" is used.
ASAP - As Soon As Possible.
This is a common acronym, not only in the online world but also in common language.
A/S/L - Age/ Sex/ Location.
This is one of the most used acronyms in online dating.
It's also one of the most common acronyms that you'd encounter early on.
When your chat mate asks this, they expect you to answer with the information about yourself.
You can also ask for their A/S/L in return.
ATM - At The Moment.
Doesn't really stand for "Automatic Teller Machine," which is more common to us.
This is used when indicating what one is doing at that time or similar situation.
Can also be used for "I can't reply ATM," or "Busy ATM.
