The First Rule For Losing 9 Pounds in a Week

When it comes to weight loss, like most situations in life, everyone is always searching for easy way out.
You know what I mean, we all look for the quickest, easiest, most painless solution to lose as much weight as we can in the fastest possible time.
But sadly...
no pain, no gain.
So true, and the problem with this logic is that there's so many people out there happy to take your money for the best "No Pain, Eat What You Like Weight Loss Program" that doesn't actually work.
Sad but true...
most of these types of programs just don't work.
All is not lost, there is a light at the end of the tunnel and it takes just a simple rule to start losing weight faster than the fat man in a sauna.
When hungry & walking down the street, I find it almost irresistible to walk past a hamburger shop once I get a smell of onions cooking on a hotplate.
So each day, many of us eat too much unhealthy food that contains lots of calories and the result is we generally eat far more calories than we actually need.
There is a thing called the 80/20 Rule, or Pareto Principle.
It's based on the theory that 80% of the results come from 20% of the effort.
This is a principal primarily used in business however it can be applied in many other situations.
When I read that, I knew I had to find the 20% that provides me with the most weight loss and here's what I found.
There is one simple rule that, if followed, will guarantee that you lose pounds.
The rule is that you must get rid of more calories than you consume.
How simple is that? You must burn more calories than you eat.
Let's think about that for a moment.
If you're eating food that contains more calories than you're currently working off, there's no way you'll lose weight, you'll just keep on getting fatter.
So, you can exercise more or eat food with less calories...
Exactly.
Sounds simple doesn't? But it's so very often overlooked.
Yet it's the most fundamental rule when trying to lose weight.
Within one week of implementing this rule, 9 pounds had dropped off me! Every day, I made sure that I ate less calories than I worked off and the weight just dropped off me.
Many people are concerned about not being able to suppress their appetites, but there are products out there that will help you and even provide you with extra energy to work hard through your days.
